Wedding Bands
I just received an email from Goldenhills... Here are some of the designs we consider for our wedding bands! Still undecided what to choose... but what I like the most is Option 4. Hehe =) But he wants Option 2. He said if I really like option 4... then be it! hahaha!
It's already customized as to our request since Rainier is uncomfortable of having any stones on his ring! (arte noh?! haha =p). We just really want it simple yet elegant and most especially fits on our budget!

Option 1

Option 2

Option 3

Option 4

Option 5

Handwriting!
Got this from Tinggay (fellow w@wie)...

Handwriting Analysis

The result of my penmanship:

You plan ahead, and are interested in beauty, design, outward appearance, and symmetry.
You are a shy, idealistic person who does not find it easy to have relationships, especially intimate ones.
You are affectionate, passionate, expressive, and future-oriented.
You are not very reserved, impatient, self-confident and fond of action.
You enjoy life in your own way and do not depend on the opinions of others.

What does your handwriting say about YOU?

Gadget Galore!
When we we're in greenhills, I'm thinking also of looking for a perfect birthday gift for my Labidoodle! I ask him what he wants since nandun na kami he can pick one! Gusto ko kase ung magugustuhan nya... As usual ayaw nya na naman... wag na daw ako gumastos! Pero with all the kulit kulit ko sa kanya..ayun na papili ko din hehe =) Then, we went to V-mall (Virramall before), and check out some of the newly opened stores. Mukhang bagong-bago pa! Unlike before... hahaha =) Rain is like a kid, kung alam nyo lang, sobrnag hooked sa mga Pc games, playstations and most of all NBA. Yan ang pinagkakaabalahan nya ngayon, NBA 2006. He's having a hard time playing NBA on my pc kase he's using the keyboard. Naku, pag naglalaro un ni hindi ko na makausap. Bawal istorbohin. Hay! =( Kaya un controller pala ang gusto!

LOGITECH RUMBLEPAD 2 CORDED USB VIBRATION FEEDBACK GAMEPAD PC/MAC

However, I myself is also a techy! I want to buy a leather case for my iPod! Hirap lang humanap ng magandang design. Ayoko kase ng silicon case. Parang it's not worth buying. Ang chep tingnan sa iPod. I don't know kung anong shop ung pinuntahan namin but it's also inside V-Mall, I saw one! Rain told me na ok na yan. May strap pa and for sure covered na covered ang iPod mo! And right there and then binili ko na! hehe! Ang saya! =)

Goldenhills!
Saturday morning, we went to Greenhills to check on Goldenhills. I emailed them last week on the designs we want for our wedding rings. I got quick response from them. And they want me to vist their shop in Greenhills in order for us to discuss more on the designs we want. Ellen, who's one of officer-in-charge is very accomodating and friendly. She showed us some of their catalogs and finished products. At first, Rain was so excited that he picked one agad agad! =) Kakatawa nga e... But siyempre parang nalula din siya sa dami ng designs kaya un naguluhan din siya. He picked more than 5 designs. Some are within the budget and some are not! That's why we want them to make some adjustments to come up within the designs we want and within our budget of course! Grabe, ang hirap pala mamili! =) We picked 5 designs and they still have to email us the quotation of each rings. Rain doesn't want stones on his ring kse e. He's uncomfortable! Kaya we re-design some of it. Can't wait for their quotations! We're keeping our fingers crossed and hope it is also within our budget! =)

Emcee!
Yesterday, I've been texting Lai of Impromptu-- my coordinator regarding Emcee.. who can they recommend! She recommended the following:

1. Mallory Ferrer-Cosio
2. Melissa Ferrer
3. Cholo Malilin

I've texted everyone and ok naman very quick ang response ng lahat. However, they have different fee as well as to the package they're offering!
For Mallory Ferrer-Cosio - I know I've already watched her host on my college bestfriend who's also a w@wie (Trina ni Ken) @ Coconut Palace. Well, ok naman siya. The crowd was jolly, despite the rain. Inulan kase ung reception e... they have to re-arrange the tables and chairs, actually everything inside Coconut Palace, kaya medyo masikip! But it's was a blast! Going back to Mallory, she's fluent in english, no dull moment, perky, really knows the flow of the script and most especially hindi nagbabackle! hehehe =) Medyo meticulous ako sa ganon e since I was working in a call center...irritable sa ganong manirism. Good thing hindi naman siya ganon! =) For me, it's ok! However, nag-increase na siya ng rate. From 3,500 Php to 4,500 Php. Pero ok pa rin saken! =)
For Melissa Ferrer - I don't know anything about her. But from fellow w@wies feedbacks ok naman siya. She texted a bit late, late ng 1 day... but she's sorry naman! Mukhang sa text palang parang perky din siya... mukhang madaldal! =P Parang its a good sign though! Her rate is quite lower than Mallory, and pasok sa budget! Its 3,000 Php! Hmm...
Lastly, for Cholo Malilin - I have no idea at all! He's just being recommended by Lai. Medyo expensive ung rate niya its 5,000 Php. His rate includes one song and program flow or something yata un. Sabi ko kung pedeng walang song since I already hired a band. Hindi daw...kase included na daw un! =( Well, erase na siya sa list ko! =)
Whew! Ang hirap pala. I pencil-booked Mallory and Melissa first, then we'll schedule a meeting with them together with my coordinator to finalize everything. Mahirap naman kase hindi agad mag-decide. Para naman ma-open pa nila ung date for other event. E sobrang konte kse ng mga ikakasal sa December 16 e! hahaha =)
I just hope I can decide as soon as possible. Goodluck! =)

She's The Man!
Last Sat, Rain & I watched "She's The Man" @ Glorietta 4. Sobrang aliw and both of us laugh out loud! At first, he's hesitant to watch it 'coz mukhang teeny-bopper movie.. He likes serious, action movies kase e! Actually, he wants sana "V for Vendetta". Sa akin ok lang naman... but he thinks na I won't be able to enjoy it kase action. And even before, he's like that. He likes me to decide in everything... so sweet! =)
Side kwento:
Actually, I'm supposed to come to work that sat night for OT (it's not mandatory though). E medyo tinatamad talaga ako as in! Paggising ko palang parang hinahatak nako na wag pumasok...hahaha =p But when I got in the car... feeling tamad pa rin ako! Rain just fetch me that night for work. He has no work on sat night kase e. And on our way to work, passing through Ayala Ave.. I decided na... Ayoko pumasok! Rain just laughed and said... "san tayo punta? Uwi ka na? Hatid na kita?" I just said..let's watched movie nalang... and matagal naman na tayong di nagde-date or watch ng movie. And Last thursday, kahit na monthsary namin we aren't able to go out because of different schedules! =( It was really a great night 'coz after watching the movie, we went to Pier One @ Buendia and have late dinner! Nag-crave kase ako sa baked oysters! Yummy! =P
Well, going back to She's the Man, I may say that the movie was hilarious. Amanda Bynes does exellent work to act as a girl pretending to be a guy. There are many times when she almost gets caught. But luck came her way when she gets away from them. Overall the girls are hot, girls think the guy's are hot, this is not a chick flick .WATCH IT!

Our 35th Monthsary
Yesterday, it was our 35th Monthsary! The day before, I'm still thinking of a present to him, ung tipong masu-surprise siya! :D Then while driving along Edsa, I saw Flowers Express. Hmmmm...."Mukhang ok un ha?!". I'm sure 1st time nya makaka-receive ng flowers. O diba unique?! Then, I called Flowers Express wednesday morning, then ordered half dozen of red roses (walang choice e..white and red lang! hehehe). I requested that the flowers be delivered between 5:30am to 2:30pm (we have different shifts na! :( buti nalang!). Para surprise diba?! But knowing Rain, he don't want kse me to gastos anything for him, kaya for sure magagalit un at parang nakikinikinita ko na na sasabihin na.."Gumastos ka pa!"... Pero ok lang un..I'm sure matutuwa naman un e..hehehe!
Then came, 16th of March, graveyard kase ako and my shift starts at 10pm - 6am, while he is working 5:30am to 2:30pm.Kaya pauwi na ako, papasok naman siya! Ganda diba? But after his shift, punta naman siya sa house namin and paggising ko nandun na siya para hatid ako! Ang gulo noh?hahaha! When i got home from work, wednesday morning, medyo kabahan ako sa surprise ko e...takot ako baka di ma-deliver dun sa request kong time!
Then, I woke up around 12:30pm, siguro pre-occupied utak ko and worried dahil baka nga di ma-deliver. I just texted him na... "Nagising ako!"...so, walang nabanggit about flowers. Actually, nagso-sorry na nga siya kase wala daw siya gift. E wala naman sa akin un e... But after, 1 hour, he called me and just said..."Lab, bat ka pa gumastos?" Hala na! Un agad bungad saken...nasabi ko lang...wla bang "Thank you?!" Di mo ba nagustuhan?...He just said.."I'm happy...nagulat ako!..pati daw mga officemate namin nagulat! hahaha!".
His monthsary gift...my favorite! Black forest from Red Ribbon! Yummy :p
Here's the flowers from FLOWERS EXPRESS!

AVP!
Last monday, Rainier, surprised me with his Do-It-Yourself AVP of our pictures through the years. Sample lang daw un..medyo marami pa raw siyang ire-revise dun! :D I'm just surprised because, I didn't even think na he'll take time to do it. Parang masyado pang maaga diba? hehehe!

Anyways, I'm so touch! And feeling teary-eyed when the song started to play..."Beginning Today" by Agot Isidro! Hay *Sigh* But of course, di ko pinahalata na naiiyak ako! hehe! Iyakin kase ako e...

Here's the lyrics:

Beginning Today
(Agot Isidro)

Beginning today I promise you
I give my heart to you
Beginning today I promise to
Never part from you

From now on I will be right by your side
And I swear other things I'll put aside
Beginning today
Beginning today
(I promise you I give my heart to you)

Beginning today there's no one else
On my mind
Beginning today there's nobody else
Right here inside my heart

From now on I will be right by your side
And I swear other things I'll put aside
From now on there'll be no one else on my mind
Beginning today (Beginning today)
Beginning today
(I promise you)
Beginning today
(I give my heart to you)

From now on I will be right by your side
And I'd swear other things I'll put aside
From now on there'll be no one else on my mind
Beginning today (Beginning today)

Beginning today
And I'd swear other things I'll put aside
From now on there'll be no one else on my mind
Beginning today
Beginning today
(I promise you I give my heart to you)
Beginning today

Last Holiday!
Yesterday, after hearing mass we went to Glorietta 4 to look ideas for our souvenirs. We're thinking of 1 decade rosary, wines and jewelries. Medyo mahirap maghanap ha! Siyempre mahal dahil sa mall! hahaha =) Kapagod din.

However, Rain and I decided to watch movie nalang. We watched Last Holiday! Funny & has its moral lesson actually!
Synopsis:
After being diagnosed with a fatal disease, a shy sales clerk goes on a European vacation to live out the rest of her life. With nothing to lose--or so she thinks--her behavior becomes more irreverent and outrageous each day, only to find out later she was misdiagnosed.
Critic's Review:
Jessica Reaves
Tribune Staff Reporter
A word to the wise: If you're ever told you have three weeks to live, you should seriously consider liquidating your life savings and making tracks to the world's most outrageously luxurious five-star resort. A word to the even wiser: Make sure you take Queen Latifah along with you.
"Last Holiday," Wayne Wang's energetic remake of the 1950 comedy starring Sir Alec Guinness, gets new life (literally) breathed into it by a wonderful, slightly toned down performance from Latifah. She's soft, bold and very funny, infusing this otherwise predictable movie with a contagious charm.
As the shy, dutiful Georgia Byrd, Latifah is miles away from her customary "brassy broad" persona, a departure that allows real sadness and sweetness to play across her expressive face. Georgia, who is the unsung star salesperson at Kragen's, a down-on-its-luck New Orleans department store, works hard and doesn't do much else. She cooks mouthwatering meals (accompanied by Emeril's televised instructions), but feeds them to a young neighbor, limiting herself to frozen diet entrees. She is quietly but desperately infatuated with Sean (LL Cool J, whose melting smile is reason enough), even pasting his face over magazine wedding photos she has assembled in her "Book of Possibilities," (which might as well be called "Book of Things I Dream of Doing But Will Likely Never Actually Do.") And she is put upon by her moronic boss, who interrupts each of their conversations by answering his cell phone.
Then, one day, everything changes. A bump on the head sends her to the doctor, who orders a brain scan, which reveals several mysterious lesions. A few consultations later, she's given the grim news: She has a rare disease, and has three (maybe four) weeks left on the clock.
Pause for moment of panic, moment of denial, moment of anger (including one of the best-ever renditions of "why me, God?" desperation) and then, a kind of acceptance, signaled by a trip to the bank for a massive withdrawal. It's time, she senses, to start living out that Book of Possibilities.
All sorts of delights follow, including Georgia's response to the indignities of coach class travel, her arrival at the Grandhotel Pupp (a real hotel set amid the Czech mountains), her various gastronomical adventures (Chef Didier, one of her heroes, is played with great comic verve by Gérard Depardieu), her base-jumping adventure. Other guests arrive, including the devious Matthew Kragen (of the department store, played by Timothy Hutton, who looks like he has gone on the Christian Bale "Machinist" diet) and his haughty mistress (Alicia Witt, who has made a career of playing pinched, lifeless princesses opposite such earthy beauties as Latifah and Sandra Bullock). Also in attendance: A crooked senator (Giancarlo Esposito) and a creepy, Mrs. Danvers-style valet (Susan Kellermann) who raises her pointy eyebrow at each of Georgia's enthusiastic outbursts. Wang (whose previous directorial efforts include "The Joy Luck Club" and "Because of Winn-Dixie") proves himself a deft hand at wringing every bit of pleasure out of a potentially humdrum story. The Czech backdrop is magical, and the effect of the snow and the glittering chandeliers and the plush decor is overwhelming: We feel like we're taking part in Georgia's fairy tale.
While this is not exactly a profound film, and the message ("live every day as if it's your last") is hardly new; it's testament to this movie's joyous energy that it doesn't matter in the least. We may know exactly where we're going, but the journey is so much fun, all but the most peevish audience members will find it impossible to complain.

Impromptu
Finally, we have an OTD coordinator. Actually, I'm having a hard time choosing a coordinator. Siyempre BUDGET! At first, Rain don't seem to agree with me getting one. Added expense daw yun. But siyempre, todo explain at lambing ako why we need it. I explain to him since we want our dream wedding to be simple and perfect...But nobaody's Perfect! Kaya nga daw maaga kami nagprepare for us not to cram or experience problems. Meron naman daw pwedeng mag-assist on the day, like his brothers and other relatives. But I still insist on explaining that sayang naman if we'll assign them, magiging busy sila and at the same time, they won't witness the event itself, because they're busy doing stuff for us. Then, I continue to explain to him the pros & cons of getting an OTD Coordinator. I just said, OTD naman eh, hindi full-coordination, since we've booked a lot of suppliers already... I'm worried about the day itself, assisting the guests, coordinating w/ suppliers, flow of the program etc. And na-emphasize ko naman na its already included in the budget. So in short napapayag ko na siya! Yey! :D
So, last friday night, before going to work (graveyard shift kse kami!), we met Gladys & Lai of Impromptu @ Shangrila Mall in Ortigas! Sayang wala si Jhing (nasa HK) hehehe!
We just discuss what we want to happen to our wedding day. We want it to be organized, beautiful, simple but elegant & yet not boring. Though we haven't discuss more of the nitty gritty details...but soon! :D

Wedding Rings

I spent the whole morning surfing & surfing the net for our wedding bands. There are a lot of designs to choose from! :-D

Here are some of the designs we'll consider. We're not that meticulous though...we just want it simple yet elegant! However, Rainier don't want any stone on his ring. Since his work is more of a technical, baka daw mawala lang un bato! *lol* We both want white gold to match up with the engagement ring I have!

We'll still have to look for suppliers though! :-D

Ento Florist

Yesterday, we went to NBC Tent to attend the bridal fair. So far, compared to last year, a lot of exhibitors participated. Kaya you have a lot of suppliers to choose from. Nakakahilo sa dami! *lol* Then after looking and looking, We went to Lala's booth, Interplay! At first, kala ko medyo old na siya...but i was wrong. She's young! :-P I just introduce myself to her that I'm the one who emailed her who wants her bridal bouquet all blue tulips! Hahaha :D We just laughed out...coz she really insisted that there's no such thing as Blue Tulips! Or else, they'll have to do is to sray it. But the downside is, that wouldn't look natural! So, we sat and talk about it and since i have a lot of members of the entourage, she have to rearrange the package she'll give to me. :-) She'll use all imported flowers such as Hollad Tulips, Ecuadorian Roses, Calla Lilies, Hyacinths etc. She also emphasize that she's not going to use mums! (I don't like mums kase e). Since, we book during the bridal fair, of course it has discount (buti nalang!). She'll just email the kind of flowers she'll be using...medyo hilo kase ako nun and di ko na matandaan. I'll post it as soon as Lala send it!
