Prenup: Where?
Yesterday, we went to Robinson's Onesimus for Rain's suit. Laging wala. And finally, they have it na. So, we went there with my future MIL. The last time we went there, a month ago pa yata. But yesterday, parang tama nalang. Parang pumayat nga si Labidoodle. Na-pressure na siguro hehehe! =p He tried the 2 bottons last month, but when he tried the 3 bottons, parang mas bagay sa kanya. Because parang umaangat na. Hmmm... pumayat! Yey! The sad part is walang 3 bottons available =(. So, what we did is we went to Onesimus (Megamall) for the alteration. Medyo mahaba na din kase ang sleeves for him. hehehe! We tried lang muna different color for his longsleeves. We opted shade of blue ang longsleeves nya and silver ang tie as well as his vest.

ang taba noh? hehehe =p

*****

Anyways, we already decided na kung kelan kami pre-nup. Mimi, already gave us their only available dates. Grabe! Sobrang busy nila. I told her na weekend lang kami pede since I still have work. So, she gave us Sept 30, Oct 1, 14, 15 and Nov 12. Whew! Kaya we decided to get nalang Oct 15 (Sunday). We're still undecided kung san maganda mag-prenup. We're considering UP, Tagaytay, EcoPark. We want lang kase nature e. Wala kaming concept. Waaah! =( Hirap mag-isip! Mimi told us if we want Ecopark, ok naman daw dun. But we have to check if we need permit pa dun. Kase the last time yata na may gustong mag-prenup dun hinanapan ng permit. Ngek? Ano ba yun! Help naman... Any suggestions with the concept?! =(

We Will Always Be Behind The Women
A married couple in their early 60s was out celebrating their 35th wedding anniversary in a quiet, romantic little restaurant when suddenly a tiny fairy appeared on their table and said, "For being such an exemplary married couple and for being faithful to each other for all this time, I will grant you each a wish."
"Oh, I want to travel around the world with my darling husband" said the wife. The fairy waved her magic wand and - poof! - two tickets for the Queen Mary II luxury liner appeared in her hands. Then it was the husband's turn. He thought for a moment and said, "Well, this is all very romantic, but an opportunity like this will never come again. I'm sorry my love, but my wish is to have a wife 30 years younger than me." The wife and thefairy were deeply disappointed, but a wish is a wish....
So the fairy waved her magic wand and - poof! - the husband became 92 years old.
The moral of the story: Men who are ungrateful bastards should remember fairies are female.
"God, family, health, and friends are important. That if everything else was lost and only they remained, my life would still be full."

Panic Mode!
Last tuesday, Rain pick-up my CENOMAR at Makati City Hall. Yipee! =p At least nababawasan na ang mga documents we need to accomplish. *Clap* Then, the next day, Wednesday, my MIL went to San Juan City Hall to pass all the documents for our Marriage License. And by October 2, it's ready for pick-up! Yey! Galing! We don't need na daw to attend the Family Seminar hahaha! Whew! Buti nalang talaga! =p

Anwyays, last Friday, after my shift. Rain & I went to Glorietta just to watch a movie. Tagal na namen siguro hindi naka-watch! I just want to unwind siguro kaya I ask him kung pede kami watch ng movie. Wala bang 10am? So, while waiting, we had our breakfast at Heaven & Eggs at Glorietta. I was so disappointed with this one crew na sobrang bagal kumilos. She said sa reception daw siya. Kaya she called another waiter to get our order again. Nakakaimbyerna! Hay!
Anyways, after the movie, we went straight home agad because I need to sleep pa. I still have work on friday night. Then, Rain got a call from Bernadette of SSA saying if sure na ba talaga kami sa December 16. Hay! Inis na inis na si Rain because this was the third time kami tinawagan if tuloy ba talaga ang wedding. And to think October na noh? E kumuha nga kami ng endorsement letter for our Pre-Cana Seminar sa kanya last August tapos tatanongin pa din kami?Hello? Ok lang siya! Kaya Rain said tuloy na tuloy na! Then bigla nalang sinabi sa amin ung schedule ng Canonical Interview namin by October 7 at 3pm. Parang nakakaloko na hindi mo maintindihan e. Feeling ko lang siguro meron nangungulit sa kanya na to get our 2pm slot on December 16 na baka nga hindi na tuloy. E we booked last June pa noh of 2005. Kung sino man ung nang-gigiit kay Bernadette, dapat nagpa-book siya ahead of time hindi ung mangungulit ka na halos naaapektuhan na ung nagprepare ahead of time sayo. Maghanap ka ng ibang church nalang. Wag mong igiit gusto mo! Hay! Hindi naman ako galit noh? Kaasar kase e. If you really want to plan your wedding, plan it well. Well... una-unahan lang yan! Sorry nalang!
I'm half done with our souvenirs packaging! Pasensiya na medyo malabo e. hehehe! =p My future MIL made it for us. She used organza for the fabric. Cutie noh? hehehe! =p
I'm still on the process of what design to put on their tags. I'm torn between circular, square and diamond shape. Kami nalang ang mag-print. Cost-cutting din kami hehe! =p We'll just put monogram nalang siguro. Pero bahala na! I'll just post soon nalang!
Mimi, texted me yesterday kung kelan kami pre-nup? Yes, hinid pa kami tapos! waaaahhh! Wala pa rin akong concept. We just want kase nature lang naman. I've been thinking of UP, Tagaytay, or EcoPark. Rain wants naman flowers. Hirap pumili. Any suggestion mga w@wie sises?
Palapit na ng palapit! *Panic* mode na kami ni Rain! =p

A Story!
A professor stood before his Philosophy class and had some items in front of him. When the class began, wordlessly, he picked up a very large and empty mayonnaise jar and proceeded to fill it with golf balls. He then asked the students if the jar was full. They agreed that it was.
The professor then picked up a box of pebbles and poured them into the jar. He shook the jar lightly. The pebbles rolled into the open areas between the golf balls. He then asked the students again if the jar was full. They agreed it was.
The professor next picked up a box of sand and poured it into the jar. Of course, the sand filled up everything else.
He asked once more if the jar was full. The students responded with a unanimous "yes."
The professor then produced two cups of coffee from under the table and poured the entire contents into the jar, effectively filling the empty space between the sand.
The students laughed.
"Now," said the professor, as the laughter subsided, "I want you to recognize that this jar represents your life.
"The golf balls are the important things - your God, family, your children, your health, your friends, and your favorite passions - things that if everything else was lost and only they remained, your life would still be full.
"The pebbles are the other things that matter like your job, your house, and your car.
"The sand is everything else--the small stuff.
"If you put the sand into the jar first," he continued, "there is no room for the pebbles or the golf balls.
"The same goes for life” If you spend all your time and energy on the small stuff, you will never have room for the things that are important to you.
"Pay attention to the things that are critical to your happiness.
"Play with your children.
"Take time to get medical checkups.
"Take your partner out to dinner.
"Play another 18.
"There will always be time to clean the house and fix the disposal.
"Take care of the golf balls first, the things that really matter.
"Set your priorities.
"The rest is just sand."
One of the students raised her hand and inquired what the coffee represented.
The professor smiled. "I'm glad you asked.
"It just goes to show you that no matter how full your life may seem, there's always room for a cup of coffee with a friend."

MOB & MOH Fittings
Just this afternoon, my mom and my sister had their 1st fitting. I may say they were very happy with their gown. With my sister naman, sobrang luwag! Nag-di-diet kase and exercise to the max. Kaya yan ang luwag sobra. She had a baby kase e. Well, I'm so happy with the outcome! I'm still waiting for Belle's pics (had her fitting yesterday). Happy weekend everyone!

3 more months...
It's our 41st Monthsary and ....

It's exactly

Daisypath Ticker

Whoa! I really can't believe that few more months it's already our D-Day! Soon I'll be Mrs. Rainier P. Marcos. Yey! =p
We didn't have any special celebration today for our monthsary. We decided nalang to make it on Sunday, Sept 17. I have a lot of things to do kase. After my friday shift, I go straight to San Juan (Rain's place). We have to pass kase the 1st batch of church requirements at SSA. But the sad part is, nakalimutan ko! Damn! Kainis... I'm suppose to put that inside the car before going to work, but sa pagmamadali ko and I'm a bit running late, ayan nakalimutan ko! =( So, by Monday nalang!
After the breakfast, my future-MIL showed me the packaging (pouch) we're going to use for my rosary souvenirs. It's half done na! Galing. May DIY din ang MIL ko! O diba? Very supportive! Before kase I'm having a hard time where to get a supplier for the pouch. Actually, it's just a small pouch (I don't know the name of the tela e..hahaha!), dami ko ngang nakita sa 168 Mall and Greenhills but I don't like the quality. Parang pabara-bara lang ang gawa! So, when I told my MIL if she knew someone who can do it (we'll just provide the fabric and the ribbons) she just volunteered to do it for us. Marunong pala siyang manahi. Yey! =p Madali lang daw un. She made 50% already! I'll just help her na isuksok ang ribbon sa butas at sa beads (basta un na un!). I'll post the pics soon. Galing tlaga! *Clap*
Then, we went straight home and need to sleep pa because we have our team-building at Music21. I was not the type of person who loves videoke. Kase sintunado ako! hahaha =) I love music, but the music don't love me! However, I really enjoyed our gimik. Though some of our officemates wasn't able to attend. Sayang! Rain, just fetched me and drive me home, kase lam nyang baka uminom ako at hindi ako makapag-drive (over-protective, though 1bottle lang ng SanMig Light lang naman). Kaya napuyat tuloy kaka-intay sa akin. Wawa! =p Ayaw naman sumama hehehe!
Now, I'm not yet sleepy kaya I decided to post this asap and download some pics also.
Tomorrow's itinerary: Will go to Zandra for my mom's and sister's fitting. Both of them are so excited of the outcome (OA 1st fitting palang hahaha!).
Have to go to bed na! What a day! =p

Our Priest!
Finally, we’ve completed the first batch of documents we need to submit to SSA tomorrow.

1. Baptismal Certificates
2. Confirmation Certificates
3. Pre-Cana Seminar Certificate (San Agustin Church)

Next in line:

4. List of Principal Sponsors (5 pairs; their respective addresses)
5. Marriage Banns
6. Canonical Interview (scheduled on October)
7. Name of the Priest – Since we’re not a parishioner, we’re required to bring our own priest, which was our problem before. Until one of our Ninong is a Lay Minister at National Shrine of the Sacred Heart (NSSH), where we hear mass every Sunday also. Meron kaseng priest don na we really enjoy his sermon, in short hindi boring unlike with the other priests (aminin?). So, when we ask Tito Pat for Monsignor Antero Sarmiento’s number, siya na daw ang bahala makipag-usap. Hay Salamat! Buti nalang. And just like yesterday, he confirmed that he will be our priest na. At Last! =p Our problem is solved! Tito Pat also said that we don’t have to worry about the stipend and his ride on the way on the church. What a relief!

So, this Sunday, we’ll give Monsignor the draft missalette we have for approval.

Tomorrow, it’s exactly 3 more months to go! Panic mode…

Undecided
I already got the draft of our invites. I was disappointed with the fonts. Ayoko in short. When Rain saw it also, the comment I got was, "Parang pam-patay!".hehehe! So, I e-mailed Henry of Craftmaster right away and told him about it. Pede naman daw palitan if we don't like it. It's just a sample draft lang naman. Good! However, we still have problems what to put in the invitations since we have cocktails to serve prior to the dinner proper. I'm still looking for the proper wordings for it. Help! =(

*****

sample fonts he sent to me... still undecided! kahit wrong spelling name ni Rainier.hehehe =p I like the font for numbers 3 & 13. Whatchutink?

Another Wedding Nightmare
Yesterday, after my shift Rain (naghalf-day) & I accompanied my Tito Mel, Tita Helen and my sister to have their measurement taking at Edward Teng. My 1st cousin from the US is getting married also this Dec 22. So excited 'coz this would be the 1st time lahat magsasama-sama for this special ocassion (2 weddings). Dati kase nag-mi-meet lang kung may namatay! Everyone is exicted for our weddings.
After Sta.Mesa (Edward Teng's Place), we went straight to Makati to have lunch. My Tito wants to buy a suit na para hindi na daw siya magmamadali to buy one before the wedding (he's also one of our ninong kase). He'll just have his vacation for 2 weeks. Matitira lang Tita up to next year. Kasabay na daw nya lahat ng cousin ko from US paguwi dito. Hay! He buy his suit from Onesimus. It's really affordable. Kaya pede na. Though it needs alterations pa din but its a good buy na din. Kailangan daw maganda ang bilhin nya 'coz he has 2 role on our wedding. Aside from the ninong, he'll accompany me together with my mom. Yes, I don't have my father anymore kaya he'll do that on behalf. Both Rain & I don't have our father anymore. Kaya we want to do the memorial candle before the ceremony. What do u think?
Actually, the night before pa I was really not feeling well. Last Saturday kase halos maulanan na din kami ni Rain after our ento's first fitting. And sobrang baha lahat ng daanan namin. Lahat ng lusutan namin baha. E we want to have dinner pa naman together with our ento, buti nalang after an hour we're able find one. Kaya nagpatila muna kami ng ulan. And still after 2 hours, from QC to Makati ganon pa din. From Buendia and Pasong Tamo. We have to dropped off Marjorie (one of my ento) who lives pa sa Cavite, sa Landmark. We arrived almost 12 midnight na. Halos 24hours na akong gising nun. And we still have to wake up early next morning 'coz we have 3 ninongs to visit. Hay! Over fatigue na kami ni Rain kaya both of us now have colds and muscle pain. =(
Last night, I wasn't able to come to work. Sama talaga ng pakiramdam ko. I have a slight fever and my throat was aching. Hirap lumunok! My mom was very worried kase masyado daw kaming na-stress sa wedding preps. Nyek?! Hay!
This morning, I really had a bad dream. Kasal ko na daw. Tapos, wala daw lahat ng suppliers ko. Tapos nagtataka daw ako bat nasa bahay ako nag-preps. On the way to the church, ako lang daw mag-isa. I'm not with my mom. And nung nandun na daw ako sa church, Rain is saying his personal vows na without me on his side. He's crying while reading his vows and hindi na halos natapos kase can't stop crying na. Then the priest naman mention na I'll have my walk na, biglang nagmura kase may nag-aaway sa loob ng church. waaaaaaaaahhh! During my walk un ha? Then, while walking down the aisle, may natanggal daw na hairpin sa hair ko na pilit ko pang ayusin and may hair fell off. Ano ba yun? Then when I check out my train, hindi daw ganon of what I expected. Wala daw si Niko. Then, hindi daw SSA ang church namin. Hala! I don't have any idea kung anong church un. Nyay! I was really crying daw when I was in the altar na. Then nagising na ako! I called Rain asap and told him about it. That won't happend daw. I was so worried lang siguro because time really flies so fast. Less than 4 months to go! waaaaaaaah!

Entourage 1st Fitting
Last Saturday, went to Zandra for my entourage 1st fitting. Sayang 'coz hindi sila complete. Conflict kase sa schedule. I got to see Marj & Emma's 1st fitting. =p

Whew! It's been quite a while since my last post. It's exactly 96 days to go! *Panic* So far, we're on the process of completing the documents for our marriage license. I'm still waiting for my CENOMAR as well as Rain's confirmation certificate. =p We are still waiting for the final draft of our invites. Nyak! Dami pa pala. Panic mode na!
