Overnight in Baguio
Just this morning, we were surprised by our manager that all employees who applied leaves for the next coming 2 months (feb & march) will be cancelled. Due to the upper management's decision bec of meeting our client's goal. Sick leave as well will be approved depending on the reason. It'll be approved lang daw if it's between "life and death"! Duh? And pag nakita ka daw na naka-luhod na pumapasok, dun lang i-approve and leave! Ano ba to? Martial Law? Everyone in the office have violent reactions on this. Meron pa nga na naka-schedule na papuntang HK this Feb, hindi na-approved! waaah! Grabe naman diba? or else you'll be escalated! Ang hirap dito because of some employees na talamak ang absences nadadamay tuloy ang lahat. Unfair lalo na na din for me, nde masyado mahilig mag-absent nadadamay! Grrrr talaga!
Anyways, kaya the leave I filed for Feb 22 of course will not be approved. Kaasar talaga! Kaya I told Rain about it and he also has problem with his leave though nakaleave naman siya ng feb 22 pero his out is around 8am pa same with me. E initial plan mga 6am ang alis dito sa manila. hay naku. So, plan namin na sa feb 23 (sat) nalang kami pumunta ng baguio on our own. Mauna nalang sila dun. Parang overnight lang namin baguio hehehe! We're still thinking if we'll drive nalang or take a bus. Worry lang namin is baka mahirapan kami because it's already peak season for the festival. Hay! =p
My mom, joshua and his yaya will also come with us. When I told her that we're going to Baguio with Rain's family, she wanted to go with us as well. hehehe =p The last time she went daw to baguio was during my parent's honeymoon! Wow... ang tagal na!
Now we're torn whether to ride a bus nalang or bring our car! Wooohooo... first time ng car ko! hahaha =p So far, pinakamalayo na narating ng car ko Subic. haha! =p

DVDs
Last Monday, Rain & I went to HP (Harrison Plaza) to buy his toiletries. Well, aside from that here's what we have... Mind you it's all DVD copies! Great... we'll not watch movies for the next couple of weeks. hehehe! =p

All About Shoes
Rain suggested to buy a shoe cabinet for my car. Kailangan ko daw un para hindi makalat ang mga shoes ko sa kotse. At first I thought he's just being sarcastic, pero nde serious siya. He really meant it. haha! Natawa lang ako because ganon ba kakalat ang mga shoes ko? I usually drive with slippers and I change it nalang when I'll be going out from the car. Mahirap naman mag-drive ng naka-heels noh? Most of my shoes were heels. I have flats as well but I want to prevent them para hindi ma-deform. hehe! I was thinking is it a good idea? or what? Additional cost? Yes! but its kinda great idea huh? Whatchutink? =)

Weekend!
Last night Rain & I went to Glorietta just to unwind from the stress work last week. We decided to watch the movie Alien Vs. Predator II. Initially, we plan to watch Alvin and the Chipmunks. However, Rain decided to watch the AvPII instead. Siguro nawala na ung excitement nya to watch Alvin because laging nauudlot. Anyways, I enjoyed the movie. Medyo suspense nga lang. I like the 1st part though. As usual I was covering my eyes most part of the movie. =p
After the movie, we had dinner over "Mang Inasal" in Makati Ave cor Jupiter St. Both of us were curious because we used to pass by everyday. We just ordered chicken, breast for me and petcho for Rain. It's very affordable and pede na compared to Bacolod Chicken Inasal. =p Plugging ba?! =p

-- March 2005

2. What inspired you to write a blog, and who are your mentors?
-- Back in highschool I'm into writing na pero for personal use lang. Parang diary. Just jotting down what happend to my everyday life. However, when I joined w@w na-inspire na ako to jot down every details while preparing my wedding. Now, halos hindi lang sa wedding ang topic but everything and anything under the sun! =p Mentors? Hmmm... siyempre w@wie sisters!

3. What are the three things that you love about being online?
-- a. getting in touch with your long-lost friends; b. surf and chat; c. of course blogging!

4. What are the three things that you struggle with in the online-world?
-- Before, I was just using pre-paid card. Darn! Sobrang bagal talaga promise. I used to log in nun tuwing madaling araw para medyo mabilis and off-peak. Buti nalang at na-invent ang DSL at least wala na kami problem with our connection.

Migraine
For the past few days, I've been suffering from Migraine. I don't know why. Rain just said because I have lack of sleep. Lagi daw kase akong nasa pc. Instead of me resting from work. Ayun internet, blog, etc. I'm also planning to have a check-up this weekend baka kung ano na. O baka naman stress lang ako? =p Hay!

Housing Loan
Last Saturday after our shift Rain & I together with my mom went to Pag-ibig to attend the seminar for Housing Loan. Yes! This will be a biggest decision for us. Since the lot is under my name (w/c my sister & I inherited from our grandparents), ako lang mag-apply. I'm just hoping that they'll grant us the maximum limit for the loan. I already contacted my highschool barkada which is an Architect to draw the perspective plan we want for the house. We wanted like a duplex. One for me and one for my sister. My mom suggested na "baket pa kami titingin ng condo, e meron naman kayong house?" pertaining to the house I inherited (our present house). Nakakahinayang lang because last 2004 my mom renovated the house and costs her a lot of money. And of course, we'll give up our tenants downstairs who's with us for almost 7 years na as well as our additional income where my mom gets the money to pay the utilities. Pero come to think of it, at least hindi na din kami mangangamba since the house is made of wood, nakakatakot sa mga sunog. Old house kase e. Sana lang matapos nya agad so we can already pass the requirements for the loan. It'll take 2 to 4 weeks for the loan to be approved. Now since Rain & I have new goals, hahaha save muna. Cancelled ang mga out-of-the-country trips for the coming years. =p
After the seminar, we went to Glorietta to have lunch. After lunch, we decided to watch I am Legend. The movie was great. Parang "Land of the Dead". It was a suspense thriller movie for me. Halos I close my eyes during the movie, pero nde naman entire hehehe! My mom was even shouting, na halos siya lang ang sumigaw promise! hahaha! =p Kulang nalang ma-nervous breakdown siya sa gulat. Rain loves the movie. Though nag-expect kase siya na nde maganda from his officemates. =p

Make Face
Saturday after work, Rain went to our office to have breakfast with my friends at Pancake House (Pearl Drive). We missed our kwentuhan bec masyado busy sa work, we weren't able to update each other's lives. hehehe! Chismisan! =p


Wala silang magawa kundi kalikutin ang phone ko and here's what they been up to... kaya I decided to make a collage... kukulit grabe!

Yellow Cab Pizza for Breakfast
Last friday (Jan 11) Rain and I had our breakfast over pizza. Whew! Grabe trip namin noh? hehehe =p I don't know why lately sobra ang appetite nya. Hindi kase daw siya kumakain sa office dahil walang time. Kaya pag uwi na siya, parang gutom na gutom. I have no time to prepare breakfast na din that time and ayaw nya ung food prepared for us by our "kasambahay". Nasasawa na daw siya sa hotdog, egg, ham etc. Maiba naman daw. Buti nalang Yellow Cab delivers 24hours a day. =p (plugging?).

Pringles
I was amazed with the new packaging of Pringles. I first saw this with my officemate. Ha? Meron palang ganyang size? And nagulat din ako sa price, 20 pesos. hahaha! =p However, the taste? Pede na. Not that salty, though its not like the original pringles we're used to na thin and crisp. Medyo makapal siya. Curious lang ako, is it locally made? At least meron ng affordable version diba? =)

Late Kwentos and Happenings (re-posting)
Here's my late kwentos and happening last, last week... =p Bad blogger talaga! hmp =(

Saturday (Jan 5): Rain & I had our brunch at Rockwell. We plan to go to Greenhills after to look for an external hard drive for our PC. Masyadong madami na kase ung files namin and considering its 80G na ha. Addict kase sa mp3s, pics, videos, etc. I almost have 50G just for my mp3s. hahaha! Masyado na daw bumabagal and he wants to format the whole pc para medyo bumilis. Siguro naman daw pede na ang additional na 120G for our files. After breakfast, we went to Powerplant. Rain was joking na "baka sale punta tayo!" Natawa lang ako becasuse he's not into shopping talaga. Ako lang! =) I don't have plans of buying anything bec. I said to myself tipid na muna ako, dami ko babayaran sa credit card next month from the shopping last Christmas. Good luck saken! However, when we went to CMG. Ayun na naman ako! Waaaahhh! =( Rain just waited for me outside para makabwelo ako and medyo madami na din kase ang tao nun. Nung nakapili na ako, I ask Rain first if I can buy the shoe. He said, "Oo naman!" Tawa lang ako bec he knew that super pinipigilan ko talaga sarili ko in purchasing anything. Pero full support pa rin nya ako. hehehe! When we got out of the store, he just said, "Wala kang bibilhin noh?" Sabay smile! Nyahaha! (Nang-asar pa e noh?).

Sunday (Jan 6): We had our reunion with my childhoon friends. It's been a while kaya everytime may uuwi dun lang ule kami nagkikita-kita. Sad to say bec hindi kami ma-kumpleto. =p As usual reminiscing the past. ahahah! Anjan ung mga crush, at kalokohan. Kaka-miss sobra! We're suppose to have dinner at Friday's Boni High Street, kaya lang nde lahat alam. So, we change to Friday's Makati nalang! =p

Kaya thanks to friendster... after more than 15years... whew! =)

Bad Blogger
It's been a week since my last post. I was so busy at work na halos hindi na ako maka-open ng pc to blog. Napupuyat kase ako everytime I open my pc and nalilimutan ko na time, kaya napupuyat ako. Minsan nako-konsiyensya na ako kse Rain was telling me na lagi nalang daw ako nasa pc. =( Gusto daw nya patanggal ung DSL namin para wala na ako magawa hehehe! =p
Anwyays, I still have a lot of photos to share, kwentos to share and feeling ko sobrang paso na kung i-kwento ko pa.... Hay!

1st Movie for the Year!
Last Jan 9, Wed. Rain & I watched National Tresure - Book of Secrets at Glorietta 4 after work. Sobrang aga ng movie namin. =p The movie was about the discovery of the assassination of Abraham Lincoln. I was expecting too much lang siguro. Of course, Nicolas Cage's humor was still there as well as his assistant. =p Nag-expect lang siguro ako masyado. But I personally like the part 1. hehehe! Same with Rain, he liked the 1st part as well. Parang sobrang simple lang ng stunts and the clues.
Initially, we're torn between National Treasure and I Am Legend. Kaya lang sobrang late na masyado first screening ng I Am Legend.
Overall rating was 4 out of 5 for me. hehehe! Read more reviews here.

Breakfast
Rain & I had our breakfast at Max's Glorietta. Naglambing if we can eat out muna before going home. I was kinda hesitant kase matutulog na kami and baka mahirapan sya makatulog mahirap na. Pero syempre I want him to be happy. Na-miss na daw nya kase un. Nagke-crave pa daw siya nun since Christmas.

Sweet Thing
When I woke up this morning.. this is what I saw...

... a letter from my lab. How sweet? Na-konsiyensiya naman ako because I didn't gave him a letter for the longest time. Parang after the wedding yata never ko na siya nabigyan ng card or letter? My Bad! =( I slept early sa sobrang puyat siguro after new year. Hindi ko na namalayan kung nakatulog na ba siya or what. He wrote the letter around 4am. I feel sorry for myself. Kaya just to make it up for him I did prepare him a breakfast. I cooked fried ham, rice, chicken sopas. =)

FREE Training
Just this morning I called the office of Jun Miranda of Canon to inquire about the FREE Basic Photography. Because any purchases of 400D before Dec 31, 2007 entitles to attend a digital photography workshop for free. Before I calling their office, I already set my mind according to the schedule they have online. Sad to say I'm on waitlist na. I picked January 12, 19, 26, February 2 & 9, 2008, 2pm-5pm. Kaya lang hindi pala tama ung sked nila. Weekend sana prefer ko para walang work. But since they have limited slot, 15 students per class lang, para daw matutukan isat-isa. They put me on Feb 12-14 (9am-5pm). Kakainis lang because it falls on a weekday (Tues/Wed/Thurs). So, I have to file a leave for that. I'm really excited about it. Na-curious ako kase bakit 3 days lang? I thought 5 days. Kaya his secretary, Jenny explained to me na 1st day daw it'll be all lecture and 2nd & 3rd day naman outside na. It'll be on Glorietta in the morning and Baywalk in the afternoon. When I told Rain about it, natawa lang siya, mag-picture picturan daw kami sa park ng glorietta. hahaha! =p He's so supportive in everything. Medyo magastos lang if I'll pursue this in the future. Hahaha! =)

Gifts
After this season, I'm sure everyone was happy with the gifts they received... This is what I got for myself....


I was so unsure kung bibilhin ko talaga to or what. Kinda pricey! Because for the past few months we've been saving for our trip to Malaysia for F1. Rain is into F1 and he convinced me to go there to see his idol. But since its Christmas, to hell with the savings! hahaha! =)

As usual, for his gadgets! Kaka-konsensiya lang because wala sa kalingkingan ang worth. Sus me! =)

MMFF ~ Timezone!
Last Dec 26, Rain & I together with my mom watched Sakal, Sakali, Saklolo. It was very funny. Sobrang lakas ng tawa ng mommy ko. To think nde nya pa napanood ung part 1 ha? =) It was really funny. All the cast did a very great job in portraying their roles especially to Gina Pareno. Galing! Wala akong masabi! I'm sure she'll have an award again. (masyado bang showbiz?! hahaha).
Anyways, after the movie we went to timezone and tried playing Deal or No Deal. We had a few game. Masyadong nakaka-addict. Kakainis lang because the points are being divided. Kaya kahit makuha mo ung 100, 50 points lang equivalent nun. My mom enjoyed it as well. If it was on a real game daw talo na agad siya. hehe! Rain is so addictus to timezone. Kaya everytime nasa mall kami he'll see to it that we'll drop by timezone. This was just his past time and stress-reliever. =) Ako naman na-addict sa UFO catcher. I already have a bunch. I kept it inside my car. Naglolokohan na kami ni Rain mukha na daw taxi car namin kase dami stuff toys. hehehe! =p It's really fun to be a kid again. Sabi nga ni Rain stress-reliever namin from work.
